  Remembering.

  Maranda’s gallery was open and even if no one ever came, it was there, in case someone wanted to meet my wife. I had taken everything of my children, wife and family and created a shrine in the living room. Pictures, drawings, papers, graded homework assignments, anything and everything, covered every inch of the walls.

  So, each day it was a reminder of a life I would never forget.

  It was my way to come home and see them, as if they were still alive.

  I spent my days at the print shop working, while always reciting memories in my mind.

  Spending an extended amount of time alone was what I preferred. Too many interactions with others took away from the world I created that kept me going.

  I could be labeled insane, but I was alive and as long as I remembered them, so was my family.

  In a way I lived in the past, but I had to.

  We all had to.

  Not only were we given the chance to live, we were given the ability to remember our lives, those we lost, the love and joy they gave us.

  To stop living, to stop remembering would be wrong.

  Because every single living being on the planet that lost their lives to the ARC vaccine reaction, were robbed of something special and precious.

  Their memories.

  For as long as I remained on the earth, I would carry my family with me through the countless memories they gave me.

  It was not only the least I could do, it was what I wanted to do.

  It kept me going.

  Life goes on in different ways. Not always easy, not always fair, we just have to find our own way.

  Finally, I did.

  When I told Jon what I was doing, my wise doctor friend said to me, ‘You don't get over a loss if you live in the past. You have to be able to move forward to get on with life and relationships.’

  He was right.

  However, I wasn’t living in the past, I was just keeping the memory of it alive.
